Taken at Cypress Point Park during my lunch hour. Today started very windy and rainy, and remained overcast for the rest of the day. I didnt think I would find anything to shoot and I was right until I approached this sign.

8-365 - The Face of Nature?
Sort of looks like those statues on Easter Island. Taken at Wilderness Park.

6-365 - Rubber Meets the Road
Ok, not really "road" more like access ramp. I came across this today while at an appointment. The blue and yellow contrast caught my eye...especially since this was about the only time the sun came out. Boosted the yellow saturation a bit.

last minute carnations
I took this shot in a last ditch effort to keep my 365 project going for a fourth consecutive day. It was very difficult for me to find time to shoot something and I was not in the most creative of moods.
This was ambient top light from the dining room light. I say this was last ditch because I really didn't have a lot of time to shoot and wanted to keep the streak alive!

Alone
Took this while walking through Wilderness Park just northeast of the Tampa city limits. I do have to say this was not found "as is", I actually place the leaf on the top rail of the walkway fence.

2-365 - Pine Cone Abstract
Well day two and I have not quit yet. Still early though so plenty of opportunity to scrap the project.
Decided to try an abstract technique I found on the web yesterday. The technique consisted of using a slow shutter speed and moving the camera while the shutter was still open. I know...not a masterpiece by any means but I wanted to give it a try.
I did some creative work in Lightroom to liven it up a bit. This is a pine cone my wife found in the Withlacoochee State Forest. The reason for keeping is the size of this monster. I will post a follow up pics of the cone. We may be seeing this pine cone a bit more but with color or water or....who knows?

...another 365 blog - Day 1
I know what your thinking..."not another 365 blog?". I can promise you this, this is not going to be just another 365 blog...this will be my 365 blog.
I know, your speechless....I was too when I first said it.
Anyway, the deal is I need something to push me to use my camera everyday and my hope is that this is that driver.. I expect that I will not post a great photo everyday...I expect that I will miss posting a day here or there. I do not expect to miss taking a photo a day. More after the jump....
